Kathleen Slayman is a 1988 graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She opened Aylett Animal Hospital in June of 1995. The community has supported rapid growth of the practice. When she is not in the office tending to pet's needs, she enjoys riding her horses, fishing and gardening. Her family includes daughters Christine and Sarah, which you will often see at the office. She has a grandson Clint which keeps her young. Her farm houses three dogs, three cats, five horses and fifteen chickens. Between the practice and the farm Dr. Slayman keeps busy.
Dr. Sydney Forester graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. She went to Mary Washington College for her B.S. in Biology and the College of William and Mary for her Master's Degree in Biology. Her veterinary interests include parasitology and cardiology. Her hobbies include canoeing, swimming, gardening and running with her dog, Matilda.
Dr. Debbie Gallof graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Her veterinary interest include, treating birds and small mammals along with dogs and cats. She has a special interest in Vet acupuncture and will soon be certified from the Virginia Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Her hobbies include biking and tending to her small farm.
